Music I listen to

Interesting facts about me

Most & foremost my main part of my life is I know there is a real & living God. Yes there is a Creator of this universe & we have a MAKER !!! Heard the gospel message before but did not believe it. Why should I ? Believe in something because Billy Graham or Pope says we should believe. Well I am not one to believe in something because someone tells me to believe. That's pure 100% brainwashing & programming. The Holy Bible stories looked foolish like fairytales & bedtime stories. Plus I've seen so many church goers that looked like they were "brainwashed only". Plus some not all tv preachers talked about $$ & give me more $ !!! No wonder many people think christianity is a joke !!! BUT nevertheless in 1973 in Williams Lake BC I simply prayed in my own words from my heart in all the sincerity & humbleness & asked God Jesus & Holy Spirit if HE was for real? [ like h2o comes in 3 forms steam ice & liquid] Well all I can say is GOD heard my prayer because had an encounter with HIM that TOTALLY took away all my dis belief !!! Literally felt the PRESENCE OF GOD come upon me !!! Wasn't on drugs nor am I crazy !!! ha. Plus since that time been college educated, drove 48 passenger bus...worked in psychiatric gr. homes.. janitorial field & floor waxing literally 100's & 100's of locations in the Vancouver area... you name it I scrubbed & waxed those floors..banks plants car repair fish plants offices car dealerships warehouses on & on...HARDEST WORK I EVER DONE. 22 yrs in the field. But now work with seniors in care aid work... But like to bike sports 20 20 60 minutes type of tv shows CNN etc...Also love to listen to Elvis concert dvd's while having 6 or more beers....... Of course love the outdoors & sharing good times with my 83 yr old dad in our 1996 Arima boat...a 16ft Sea Explorer !!! It is one of the very BEST in what we wanted in a boat... I call it a MASTERPIECE !!! Other boats we had & in the conditions & areas we boated in Pacific Northwest... Fraser River & Georgia Straight ... rip tides high waves wake from big vessels currents ... we were in DANGER many times...With the Arima we now feel so so much safer!!! Like night & day. Also have a desire to tell the BC boaters about the ARIMA BOAT & they are becoming more popular up this way... & why not ...as they are a perfect boat for BC Canada lakes rivers & coastal Pacific waters. Now have a hand out which I give to people who come to us asking questions about our Arima when we are at the boat launch. Always getting positive re actions & questions... everytime we go boating. Nothing like seeing an ARIMA in person & now with ARIMA'S NEW IMPROVED WEBSITE... Arima Boat International factory website...it the boat & the website get 3 10's from me...like on DANCING WITH THE STARS tv show. Why do I care to tell others about the Arima ??? Because if someone could design such a great boat then feel I owe it to them [Arima International & to dealers] to tell the boating crowd... Arima Boats will only be around if they get orders & dealers get sales. As far as me telling about my faith... Share it to you but not in a pressure way or arm twisting way... Only share it because it's true & real. God loves you. We have to pray to Him 1st then God will respond to you. He waits for us to make the 1st move. Also because it is a very important issue... after all "flip the coin" yes there's a real devil & demonic realm & a place called "hell". One site on web is EWTN if you like the Catholic favor & The 700 Club or CBN if you like the Protestant side but there's only one Savior ... Jesus. No one gets to Heaven by one's "good behavior" we get Heaven only by HIS MERCY GRACE & FORGIVENESS. You can also go to multiply & read what I have on my site. AL's Site......... Anyways I'm a member not to go on & on about my faith but because of my love of boating in an Arima Boat . Also whfoods on web then go to left of page click on whfoods list now you will have great info on so many foods & what they are good for.... Walnuts for example are great for one's heart...... HAPPY BOATING TO ALL !!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Al! Great to hear back from you. Please pass along my greetings to your friends who are believers on the Arima site. I laughed when I read your comment about your Dad and cribbage! I love the game too. Many good memories over the years......... I'm excited that you're passionate about your faith. Others do need to hear it, even though they may reject it. You reflect the Lord's heart that "all would be saved". In a pluralistic society like ours it is refreshing to read about one who "is not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes". Blessings to you Al, Michael

Hi Al! Thanks for the greeting and response to my "wife-friendly" post. I was blessed to hear of your faith in the Lord Jesus. We share a common belief. Do you ever get to Lethbridge? If you do, please look me up. I am a pastor in a non-denominational church here. I'm also encouraged that your Arima has served you so well. I hope to join the ranks! Michael from LA

Glad to be back and looking forward to being part of the 'new' Arima community. Since my recent heart surgery my DRs have 'dry docked' me for the summer so I have some time fixing, adding goodies, and just puttering around the Sea Chaser.. Maybe I can install the windshield wiper I bought from Belinda two years ago....

G'day Al , and your now famous Dad,Its lovely to hear you refer to your Father, as indeed you do.When there are so many people out there in the big world who dont give a hoot about their parents, until the will is read of course to see if they've got any thing. My wife and I had my Father living with us right up to the day when He passed away. People used to say,'' why not put him in a home''.No way! He never turned his back on me years ago. so why would we do that to him in his time of need. As I was adopted.Long may you enjoy the company of your Father. Best regards, Mike W/Australia,

Hi Al. Proud to say that I am a believer. Great that you and your dad have finally got back on the water. We have already put about the same number of hours on our Honda as we did all year last year. My wife is originally from Indonesia, but many filipino's approach her and speak tagalog to her, so she must look a lot like a filipino. We are considering keeping our boat on Vancouver Island for a month or two this summer so we can spend more time fishing over there. Last week I had to do some work on the island and decided to chek out a boat and rv storage in Coombs (between Parksville and Port Alberni) to see if they had a spot available for our boat - noticed that there were already 2 Arima's in there - a 16SE and a 22SL. Talked to a guy with a 17SR at the boat ramp in Port Alberni, he said there are several Arima's there.

Praise the Lord you(s) believe!!!--- Yes we finally are getting on the water...The colder weather & the hockey play-offs have kept us on land during this past Spring.... etc... Really I leave it up to my dad to say"Let's go boating" ...so if tides are ok & so on we go out. It's only the beggining of June & you've gotten in so many hrs in already....WOW. That's great you & your family are enjoying boating so much. ---- The Island idea you mentioned sounds "interesting". --- Much nicer areas that way. ( east side more sheltered for the most part) ... Well we can say our ladies are "asian." --- Yes it seems the BC boating crowd is starting to discover more & more the joys of owning an Arima boat !!! -------- In closing have to say that it is great that ya have a faith... yes I too found out this "story" that at one time looked in many ways so foolish...is actually FACT. When one meets the Lord via prayer... all dis -belief dis-appears . Happy boating!!!
